Challenge

To specifically target IPF's niche through relevant search terms, and avoid attracting the wrong audience.

Solution

We had to be very careful with how we approached the content on IPF's landing pages; they needed to be extremely specific about the search term that is assigned to the page, as well as incredibly informative to the audience reading the content. This ensured relevancy and trustworthiness for the key phrases. Next was to acquire referrals from other websites within a similar industry so that IPF gain authority and appear higher on Google for the things they are deemed relevant for. Whilst all the above was happening, our web development department were working on correcting all technical issues affecting the website's performance, this also helps the SEO of the site in many ways.

Results

A combination of the above allowed us to dramatically increase IPF's organic traffic in just a few short months. A very erratic and inconsistent bounce rate was stabilised (due to more traffic data) from between 50% - 70% to 32%. Organic traffic only increased by about 750% over the course of just 4 months. Average time spent on site went up by about 1 minute 30 seconds, we think this is mostly due to the massive increase of information available on the key landing pages.
