SEO Engineer / SEO Specialist

We are looking for an SEO Engineer able to hit the ground running taking on responsibility for the SEO strategy and implementation for our growing client base.

Position: SEO Engineer / SEO Specialist
Location: Pinner, London
Salary: £20-£28k (dependant on experience)

Job Description:
Develop overall SEO campaign strategy;
Direct Copywriters, Developers and Link Builders during the project;
Develop, present and implement detailed recommendations including optimised website architecture, internal link structure, server and CMS requirements;
Direct web developers and designers to produce websites that adhere to SEO standards;
Perform highly detailed website audits to pinpoint issues and ensure websites are properly constructed to maximize search engine visibility;
Use analysis from analytics packages to develop strategy and identify problem areas;
Liase with clients on website usability, to improve the end-users’ experience, and improve conversion rates;
Provide current SEO strategies and advanced optimisation techniques to internal team members;
Assist Business Development with detailed website audits, pricing and estimated project timeline.

Candidate Requirements:
Bachelors degree with a background in Information Technology, Information Systems, Management/Management Information Systems, eCommerce, or similar field (desirable);
In depth technical understanding of search engine optimisation(required);
Programming skills with HTML, JavaScript, ASP, PHP, Cold Fusion, .NET and Perl (highly desirable);
Experience developing TYPO3 based websites (highly desirable)
Strong customer service orientation and the ability to form customer relationships;
Strong communication skills (written and verbal), interpersonal skills, a positive attitude and the ability to thrive in a collaborative agency environment;
Be able to successfully manage multiple projects in a deadline driven environment.
Effective troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Demonstrable ability to solve complex problems;
Ability to work independently and balance multiple projects and processes simultaneously.
